I’m sure most of us have seen the statistics on cheating and it’s not good.

I cannot let Wednesday go by without sharing two April Fool's Day stories involving the Vancouver Courier. In 1998, I completed the development of Elm Park Place at the corner of West 41st and Larch Street.

First they came for our bottled water and snack food purchased outside the concert venue and I did not speak out because I do not purchase bottled water or snack food, let alone bring bottled water or snack food into a concert venue.

Whatever the results reveal of the homeless count conducted over two days last week, don’t assume the final number is totally accurate. That’s not me being grumpy.

There are two more days of anxiety about booze prices before all is made clear on April 1, when the new pricing system kicks in.
