Re: “Artspeak offers artificial value,” March 14.

Go to a council meeting anywhere in the outer ring of Metro Vancouver these days, and you’ll hear some of the same words over and over again. Density. On-street parking. Multi-family housing. Transit. Bike lanes.

It was clearly a moment of triumph for Premier Christy Clark and her government. The six-week strike at Port Metro Vancouver that only showed signs of getting worse instead came to a peaceful end last Wednesday.

It’s been five years since the last time bald blue men with amazing abilities were seen in Vancouver.

Re: “ Mandatory helmet rules put lid on debate ,” March 19. After a couple of high profile skiing fatalities a decade ago there has been a surge in the number of people wearing helmets. Now, instead skiers are dying with their helmets on.

Re: “ Artspeak offers artificial value ,” March 14. This is not to be misunderstood, but please tell Mr. Olson I love him! His column on “artspeak” really hit the spot with me. I am an artist. I create abstract photo-art.
