Get into the festive spirit with a stroll through a glittering winter wonderland.
Lights are twinkling across Metro Vancouver in time for the holidays and there are plenty of places to see them, including this merry festival.
With a magical land of sparkly lights and wintry forests to stroll through and various festive characters, like Santa, to greet along the way, Lumagica is an enchanting holiday experience.
Though the festival is mainly indoors, a glittering light walk takes visitors for a 1km stroll through festive lands and light forests, including over 120 features and ornaments as well as a Gingerbread Lane. Afterwards, they are transported into the warm and cozy (and indoor) North Pole Village.
Inside, there will be a holiday market with locally-made artisan goodies, seasonal treats such as spiced eggnog cannoli and hot cocoa, interactive displays, animation, photo opportunities, and many merry surprises.
The magical light walk takes place at the Cloverdale Fairgrounds from Nov. 15 to Dec. 30, except for Nov. 28-30, Dec. 5-7, as well as Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
