Fast fashion has become a consumer norm; we buy inexpensive clothes several times a year, and those pieces wear out quickly, or get tossed aside so we can move on to the next.
A new organization in Vancouver called Archive is focused on helping locals become more savvy about sustainable fashion practices, including buying more long-lasting, high-quality pieces, including those that are second-hand.

Archive has put together Vancouver's first consignment warehouse sale, which they hope will be an annual event. They'll have racks of all-season men's and women's apparel and accessories for sale, ranging from contemporary to designer luxury brands, all via consignment.

There's no entry fee to do some shopping, but if you want a leg up on the merch, you might consider a couple of pre-sale options, including a ticketed VIP event on Friday, November 2 that features a Sustainable Panel conversation as well as shopping ($25), or grabbing an early-access pass for $10 that gets you in an hour ahead of the general public on Saturday, November 3.
