Every day we share a single photo from our Flickr Pool shot by one of our faithful and talented readers (that’s you!).

Yesterday's post had us visiting Stanley Park, and so today we shall remain there. Stuart Langfield shares with us his slightly-unconventional take on one of the city's most recognizable landmarks - the Lions Gate Bridge. And while Stuart's and Billy Jaye's photographs were both shot in the park, they also share another commonality - a super-short or fisheye lens. Where objects up close to the camera get curved and distorted using a short lens (as seen in Billy's photo yesterday), objects further from the camera are subject to a different form of distortion: the distance between the object and the camera get exaggerated greatly. The result in Stuart's image is that the bridge appears much longer and narrow than in real life.

I mean, the bridge is notoriously narrow, but not that narrow! Here is At The Lion's Gate.
