I had heard rumours lately that the Google Maps Street View Car was in town, but as of yet I have not been fortunate enough to see it driving around myself. I recall feeling a little skeptical upon seeing Vancouver in Street View for the first time - but now I really appreciate it as a research tool for the planning of mid-to-long range photo missions.
Ironically enough, I have absolutely no idea where the photograph below was taken. All Jeff Arsenault tells us is he spotted this "elusive" vehicle parked on the "Westside of Vancouver". If I could appropriate the words of Vancouver Is Awesome founder Bob Kronbauer, I would say that Vancouver isn't awesome because Google Street View is here, Google Street View is here because Vancouver is awesome!
