Film. How many of you shoot film? How many of you shoot both digital and film? Digital only? Me, I'm old enough to remember shooting when there was only film, and what a wonderful experience it was going to the local camera shop and bending the ear of the guy(or gal) behind the counter, finding out which film was best for a particular application, lighting, scenario, subject, etc. Being nervous when trying out a new type or brand, or a different ISO. Or even black and white film...
And then the anticipation to getting back the photos after processing, anxiously opening up the envelope to see if you did everything right, set all the settings correctly, adjusted all the dials the right way to achieve, at the very least, that one perfect shot.
I should shoot more film...
