Last week Jonathan Taggart finished off his series of posts from the road with Dan Mangan. The Home Stretch followed Dan and Aidan Knight on a trip filled with live shows from Vancouver to Canmore to Lethbridge to Edmonton to Calgary to Kelowna and back. (See days 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6)
While they were in Calgary I managed to connect Dan with our friend Brock Mitchell who runs one of our sister sites, CalgaryIsAwesome.com. They do a thing over there called Shot At The Dark where they get different artists to play a single acoustic song, in one take, which they film and post on their blog. It's a concept we might one day poach from them but until that day, enjoy Dan Mngan's Shot At The Dark all the way from Cowtown!
