F’N SWEET! SLURPEE SUPREMACY….

Last year, Gerald Belmont made this post about what he thought had the best slurpee on the North Shore.  As much as I love slurpees, I thought a slurpee, was a slurpee, till I tried this place .  They also have a stunning selection of penny candy, not a section, but a whole isle, it's sweetbag central.

I'm not sure if it's the postal code, or some sort of battle for slurpee supremacy, but down the street, at the Shell station on Cap. road, definitely has a slurpee which rivals Hardy's.

What really makes this slurpee special is two key elements.  As Gerald mentions, the texture of the ice is key.  The slurpees here are extra extra fine, it's not like drinking a sno cone through a straw.  They also provide extra large straws which ensures that you'll enjoy every last drop.  Secondly, as much as I love Sev, for whatever reason, they don't carbonate their slurpees, I'm not sure when they started doing this, but when I turned handle at Shell and felt the power....it took me back.

The frequent slurpee buyer card was icing on the cake, I asked the attendant if it was good at all Shells, and he said it was.  Looks like I might be easing off of the Husky's.
