Public Disco is breaking out the vinyl for one last party this summer.
The not-for-profit party organization is holding one last blast event on Saturday, Sept. 6, at šxʷƛ̓ənəq Xwtl’e7énḵ Square (the north plaza at Vancouver Art Gallery).
The free, all-ages event will turn the busy plaza into a huge dance party.
"We’re closing out our 2025 season with a celebration that embodies the heart of Public Disco—transforming public space through music and fostering moments of connection across communities,” says Public Disco's Nickolas Collinet in a press release.
The six-hour event will see a mix of electronic music from local DJs DANE, Kozue, Cool Underground Music, Andrè Rose, and Beiti. House, disco, and groovy techno are all on the auditory menu.
The licensed event will include pop-up bars and food trucks for those looking for drinks and eats, including ice cream, tacos and bannock.
The event will also be accessible, with a wheelchair accessible washroom on site.
