Granville Island hosts rotating pop-up of small local businesses. Here's who's up next

Next up is a beautiful and delicate local jewellery brand.

In the Net Loft building of Granville Island, an empty room has been transformed multiple times over this summer to showcase Vancouver-based small businesses on a weekly rotation.

This week's spotlight is on the delicate and delightful jewellery brand, Lover's Tempo.

The brand has gained popularity in more recent years thanks to the accessible price point of its demi-fine pieces and ultra-dainty dreamy designs that have astrological cosmic touches. Lover's Tempo has been a regular fixture at women-led pop-ups around the city but this is their first-ever branded pop-up shop.

“Since 2008, we have created affordable and feminine jewellery and accessories that spark delight and we can’t wait to bring that experience to life in our own retail space,” says founder Elaine Kim Smith.

From August 15 to 21, the shop will feature new and best-selling pieces plus exclusive sale items. The pop-up will also feature a custom gold hoop earring and necklace bar and a sneak peek of their upcoming hair accessory collection launching next month which includes enamel and mother of pearl style claw clips and berets.

Lover's Tempo has also chosen to feature other local women-led businesses at the pop-up such as Wild Bunch Florals, the beauty and self-care brand Midnight Paloma, Homecoming Candles, and Emsay's concrete homewares.
