Vancouver’s Hastings park will be transformed into a land of all things Oktoberfest this week at Harvestland, Canada’s largest harvest festival.
What's more, guests to the family-friendly festival will enjoy free entry for the first two hours of the day on opening day, Thursday, Oct. 10. In addition, guests can ride for free this weekend on Saturday, Oct. 12 between 12 p.m. - 1 p.m.
“We are thrilled to be opening our doors to Harvestland this year as we continue to work towards providing the community with a diverse set of family festivals that are easily accessible throughout the year.”, says Shelley Frost, PNE President & CEO.
“This Fall the festival grounds have something for everyone to enjoy, whether it be our selection of amusement rides, pumpkin patch, or the educational agriculture learning area for children. Harvestland is the autumn adventure you won’t want to miss.”
The festival will be all-ages, but it will also include the 19+ Harvest Haus celebration on select evenings under the great Halle marquee. Delectable eats and beverages will include oompah bands, pretzels, branded steins and a dizzying selection of libations from our großmenü of international biers and spirits.
The grounds will have with dozens of attractions ranging from tractor rides to logger sports shows to pumpkin carving and theatrical entertainers. In addition, guests will enjoy a colourful Bavarian Village, a mystifying Woodland Labyrinth, and the interactive Kinder Farm for the little ones.
Harvestland will be open this Thursday, Oct. 10 from 4 p.m. - 10 p.m.
