A show set to film in Vancouver this week is about a journalist named Beth, played by Alice Eve (Men in Black 3, Star Trek Into Darkness), who starts receiving tomorrow’s newspaper today.

A film crew will take to Vancouver waters to shoot scenes for a new CBS pilot this week.

Production company Pico Productions Inc has shared a resident notification letter that states filming will take place at Fisherman's Wharf at 1505 West 1st Ave. on March 30 and March 31 from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily.

Actors and crew will film in the area on the north side of the 1500 block of West 1st Avenue from Pennyfarthing Drive to Creekside Drive. Scenes will include activity in the harbour, interior scenes on a boat, and the "aftermath" of the scene with emergency services present.

There are no traffic closures scheduled during filming.

Canadagraphs reports that the film set is for a CBS pilot called Early Edition.

The show is about a journalist named Beth, played by Alice Eve (Men in Black 3, Star Trek Into Darkness), who starts "receiving tomorrow’s newspaper today" and ventures to change the outcome of the news rather than report it, according to Deadline
