Who doesn't love a random high five?!
Vancouver local and award-winning director Mina Shum (Double Happiness, Drive, She Said) was just one of the many TV and Film Types on hand for a late afternoon soirée at the Dockside Restaurant in the Granville Island Hotel yesterday. The invite-only cocktail party was hosted by the Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television which is responsible for some of the biggest celebrations of Canadian arts and culture like the Genie, Gemini and Prix Gémeaux awards. The event was presented by the Director's Guild of Canada (BC District Council) and Kodak Canada.
