This is where you'll find Vancouver's most interesting people

For the past nine years, Interesting Vancouver has been diving deep into the uncharted waters of the Vancouver community, showcasing the curious, odd, and interesting ways people express creativity in their everyday lives.

For the past nine years, Interesting Vancouver has been diving deep into the uncharted waters of the Vancouver community, showcasing the curious, odd, and interesting ways people express creativity in their everyday lives. With our 10th anniversary coming up on November 10th, we're gearing up with an extra special show featuring an exciting line-up of speakers.

You won't want to miss out on this special night of delicious catering, music, and ten of the most interesting (specially curated) speakers Vancouver has to offer this year. Our IV17 emcee is Jocelyn MacDougall, the feisty and inimitable vocalist for the hit Funk and Motown cover band 'Queer as Funk' - need we say more?

Many thanks to our cultural partners, SFU Woodward, who is hosting this event on the traditional unceded territories of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh nations.

One last thing...

Saturday, October 14th is the last day we're accepting nominations for this year's IV Prize. The winner will receive a cash prize in support of their interesting project or initiative, a one-of-a-kind award, and an opportunity to speak at IV18. Know someone interesting? Nominate them today and we'll announce the winner at this year's IV17 event.

Need a little sneak peek at this year's speaker line-up? Follow us on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram because we'll start releasing their names next week.

We sell out every year, so don't wait — grab your IV17 tickets now! Spread the word via your social channels and get your friends to see how interesting Vancouver really is.
