ISSofBC’s Multilingual Case Management (MCM) program provides personalized and professional one-to-one employment counselling in English or the client’s first language. In addition to providing services in career planning, goal setting and job search techniques, MCM can also refer clients to skills training, English language upgrading and employment assistance programs.
We spoke Ghian Del Mundo, who has been an MCM client since July 2009, to see why he thinks Vancouver is awesome!

I’m from Manila, Philippines.
How long have you been here?
I’ve been living in Vancouver since 2007.
What was your first impression of Vancouver?
Vancouver is a great city. It’s so clean, everything – particularly the transportation system – is accessible, organized and well thought out. With the mountains and cool breeze, we also have the best backyard in the world!
What is your favourite thing to do in Vancouver?
During the summer I like to go crabbing with my friends in Burnaby, and we often go for bike rides in Stanley Park. When the weather doesn’t cooperate I like to play indoor sports, such as bowling.
