The JUNO Awards have just announced that Burnaby born singer Michael Bublé will host the annual celebration of Canadian music. 2018 JUNO events take place from March 19-25 in Vancouver.

This is the fourth time that Vancouver has played host to Canada’s Music Awards ceremony; shows previously took place in 1991, 1998, and 2009. This will mark Bublé's second appearance as host. The awards aim to honour the artistic and technical achievements of Canadian recording artists.

In addition to the award ceremony, the City of Vancouver, CreativeBC and the Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (CARAS), in partnership with the JUNO Awards Host Committee, have announced a selection of local programming initiatives, including JUNOfest, a two-night multi-venue festival featuring 100 Canadian artists. Other events include Junior JUNOS, JUNO Fan Fare and the JUNO Cup.

Bublé has remained largely out of the public eye since his elder son was diagnosed with cancer in 2016.

Tickets to attend the event go on-sale Friday November 24, 2017 via Ticketmaster. The award ceremony will broadcast live on CBC. Learn more HERE.
