Monster Jam among Vancouver events postponed due to COVID-19 concerns

Monster Jam will not be taking place March 14-15, due to the province's new policy on gatherings during COVID-19 pandemic

UPDATE MARCH 12, 2020:

In accordance with the restrictions on travel and group gatherings amid COVID-19 concerns, the upcoming Monster Jam events scheduled for Saturday March 14 and Sunday March 15, 2020 at the Pacific Coliseum (PNE) in Vancouver, BC will be rescheduled for a later date.

All tickets will be honoured for the rescheduled dates which will be announced soon.

Customers that cannot attend the rescheduled date will be given a refund at their original point of purchase.

If you like big trucks and you cannot lie, you may want to mark this event on your calendar.

Monster Jam returns to Vancouver this month, promising an action-packed motorsports experience where 12,000-pound trucks and the world-class athletes who drive them tear up the dirt with gravity-defying feats.

Tickets are now on sale to the event featuring a mix of "high-flying action and four-wheel excitement" happening at the Pacific Coliseum at the PNE on March 14 and 15.

This year, five Vancouver trucks will make their debut appearances at the show including Dragon, Wild Side, Raminator, Rammunition and Just Get Er Done II.

While the legendary Grave Digger, Max-D, El Toro Loco and many more will push the limits of freestyle, 2 wheel skills challenges, and racing competitions.

“Monster Jam drivers are trained, world-class male and female athletes who have mastered not only the physical strength and mental stamina needed to compete, but the vital dexterity to control 12,000-pound machines capable of doing backflips, vertical two-wheel skills and racing at speeds up to 70 miles per hour to produce jaw-dropping, live motor sports action seen around the world,” event orgranizers boast in a media release.

Fans also have the opportunity to attend the Monster Jam Pit Party, where they can see the massive trucks up close, meet their favorite drivers, get autographs, take pictures and enjoy other family-friendly activities.

The event is said to offer attendees “unbelievable action, unexpected thrills and full-throttle family fun.”

When: Saturday, March 14, 2020 Pit Party open from 10:30 a.m. – noon Event times:  1 p.m. and 7 p.m. 

Sunday, March 15, Pit Party open from 10:30 a.m. – 12 p.m. Event times:  1 p.m.
