There's a vibrant new mural brightening up the industrial area in the north part of Mount Pleasant, and it's the work of Spanish street artist Okuda San Miguel.
Bringing its rainbow hues to the parking-lot facing wall of Vancouver developer PortLiving's headquarters at 4th and Alberta, the mural marks San Miguel's first foray into Canada.
San Miguel, who is known as OKUDART, completed the vibrant 1,200-square-foot mural called " Canadian secret mountains" in just 48 hours, says PortLiving. The official reveal was on September 30.
Known for his use of bright colours, geometric patterns, headless animals, and an overall pop surrealism meets street art vibe, San Miguel's work can be seen in India, Mali, Mozambique, the United States, Japan, Chile, Brazil, Peru, South Africa, Mexico, and throughout Europe.
