Rapper Childish Gambino, aka Donald Glover, will perform a live concert in Vancouver on September 23, 2024, at Rogers Arena on his New World Tour

American rapper Childish Gambino will embark on a new tour, with a stop in Vancouver at Rogers Arena this fall.

Called The New World Tour, Gambino will open his show in Oklahoma City on August 11, before moving through the U.S. and Canada. There are four Canadian shows: Toronto on August 18, Vancouver on September 23, Calgary on September 27, and Edmonton on September 29.

The UK/Australia leg kicks off on October 31, 2024 in Lyon, France, before wrapping up on February 11, 2025 in Perth, Australia.

In Vancouver, Childish Gambino will be supported by Willow as the opener. Willow, 23, is the singer-songwriter daughter of actors Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith.

Tickets for the Vancouver show go on sale to the general public on Friday, May 17. Amex presales begin May 15. All ticketing information is available via Ticketmaster.

Childish Gambino, 40, is the stage name of actor, comedian, singer, rapper, writer, director, and producer Donald Glover.

While appearing as Troy Barnes in the cult comedy series Community, the rapper dropped his debut album, Camp, in 2011, describes Ticketmaster.

In 2018, Glover unveiled his politically charged single “This Is America.” The track went viral thanks to its cinematic music video, hitting No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and winning the artist four Grammys including Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Music Video and Best Rap/Sung Performance.

His newest release, ATAVISTA, dropped Monday, May 13. The album is "the finished version of 3.15.20, the album I put out four years ago," the artist explained on social media.

"The all-new Childish Gambino album comes out in the summer," added Glover.
