The Richmond World Festival returns to the Lower Mainland this summer for its fifth annual celebration of food, drink, entertainment, art and culture.

Not only is the two-day event free to attend, but it also offers dozens of free performances to watch. Last year, the event's musical guests included huge acts such as the Canadian songstress, Lights, as well as a smorgasbord of local and international talent.

The festival will also host 60 delectable food-trucks, which is ten more than last year. As such, it will be Richmond's largest food truck festival of the year, offering everything from savoury to sweet dishes and everything in between.

In total, the event will see over 150 performances on eight stages throughout the two-day event at Minoru Park. The fun kicks off at 4 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 30, followed by its second day on Saturday, Aug. 31.

The full musical lineup, as well as participating food trucks, vendors, and entertainers, will be announced on July 10.
