What a week! I jammed a lot of music into a few short days, and I hope you all made it out to Khatsahlano, because it was awesome! This week is looking great too, so check out the photos below and the listings for:
THIS WEEK IN MUSIC: starts tonight at the Portside Pub with an East Coast Kitchen Party - food, drinks and music (by the Halifax Wharf Rats), what's not to love. There are two great events on Wednesday night, first of is the Jasper Sloan Yip CD Release at the Media Club with The Never Surprise, and Skye Wallace! And over at the Portside Pub, the Women & Whiskey night is back with The Ponderosas, and Jackie Treehorn. Thursday you have another choice to make: Sunshine, Actors, Sex With Strangers, and Girlfriends & Boyfriends at the Biltmore, or JP Maurice, with Kaylee Johnson, and Luca Fogale at The Whiskey Bar. Friday marks the beginning of the Vancouver Folk Music Festival...3 days of amazing music from local, national and international artists...and it looks like the weather is going to be cooperative this year! Finally Saturday night after folk fest, head to the Biltmore for the CD release for Factories & Alleyways, with guests Coldwater Road. Go see some music!!!
