The show at the Railway is approaching quickly (this Thursday!) so we wanted to remind you to come out and support us/MDD/the bands, by giving you a little taste of who they are...

Headlining this year’s concert is a team of young Vancouver musicians with plenty of buzz in the blogosphere and professional music media. Jasper Sloan Yip is a Vancouver-based singer/songwriter whose razor-sharp, quick-witted lyrics are an unexpected match for his folk-infused melodies and instrumentation. Within a month of completing his first full-length album Every Day and All at Once, lead single “Kiddo” was in regular rotation on CBC Radio 3. “Slowly,” the second single off of Every Day and All at Once spent ten weeks in the CBC Radio 3 top thirty, making it as far as number four.
