The Boundary Bay Airshow is back this Saturday, July 19, with an exciting day in the skies over South Delta.
Get ready for an unforgettable day of thrilling aerial performances, entertainment, and family-fun.
The free-admission event, hosted by Alpha Aviation Inc. and the City of Delta, will take place at Boundary Bay Airport (7800 Alpha Way).
For more than 20 years, Boundary Bay has been a gathering place for Airshow fans to unite. With a star-studded line-up. This year is expected to deliver another fantastic show.
Aviation enthusiasts and Airshow goers can expect an action-packed day of performances from the Canadian Forces Snowbirds, Vicky Benzing, Kyle Fower, Yuichi Takagi and more! Gates open at 11 a.m. with the Airshow starting at noon.
Traffic is expected to be extremely heavy, so guests are encouraged to arrive early. Paid parking is available onsite, and free parking options are available nearby with shuttles starting from 9:15 a.m. Further details about parking options and shuttle service can be found on the City of Delta website at: delta.ca.
There will be no shortage of entertainment, both in the skies and on the ground.
The tarmac will be full of a variety of static aircraft, exhibitors, and vendors.
Guests can explore a static display of vintage and military vehicles.
The Family Zone will have engaging activities for young aviators. Guests can enjoy lunch from the Delta Firefighters Charitable Barbecue station or can choose from more than 20 food truck options. Some of Delta s favourite local breweries will be offering refreshments in the beer garden. There is something for everyone!
This year, aviation fans can opt for an elevated Airshow experience by purchasing tickets to the exclusive Airside Chalet where they can enjoy food and drinks right from the fence line! With premium seating, gourmet catering, shade, private washroom access and priority parking included, this option allows showgoers to experience the Airshow with maximum comfort.
