SCENE AND HEARD showcases the independent music scene here in Vancouver. With 29,108+ artists, boasting 136,000+ tracks, the CBC Radio 3 web site is the absolute ultimate authority, and the home, of independent music in Canada. With that massive library along with tools for members (free to join!), we’re taking advantage of what they’ve set up by bringing you a fresh batch of music every week featuring local groups who have tracks (entire albums, even!) on the R3 site. |
Okay, can we just stop for a second and check out how adorable Wintermitts is in that photo. Okay.
So they made us a playlist! There was a little bit of a squabble over what bands to include, but I was diplomatic and just put everything they gave me in! It was described as "mix of local music punk rock(ish) tunes and some fem con as well"...I enjoy it.
Fun Fact! Wintermitts is opening for Rococode's CD Release party next week (April 4th!), and I'm super excited! You should go to there.
