With 23,912 artists, boasting 106,660 tracks, the CBC Radio 3 web site is the absolute ultimate authority, and the home, of independent music in Canada. With that massive library along with tools for members (free to join!), we’re taking advantage of what they’ve set up by bringing you a fresh batch of music every week featuring local groups who have tracks (entire albums, even!) on the R3 site.
Library Voices are coming back to town (remember that amazing show during the Olympics? and that one with We Are The City?) and they are bringing Bend Sinister home with them - playing at the Pit Pub at UBC on Friday. SO to celebrate, we asked the band to pick some of their favourite Vancouver artists and put them in a playlist...Bend Sinister is on it, take a listen and see whom else:
