Superman & Lois filming in Metro Vancouver (PHOTOS & VIDEO)

Is that Superman...again?

While it might not come as a surprise that superhero flicks are filmed in the city, few Vancouverites actually lay eyes on the actors in full costume. And no one is sick of seeing the lead actor of Superman & Lois dressed in his "super" attire.

Tyler Hoechilin, who plays the DC Comics superhero in the popular TV show, was last spotted filming scenes in George Wainborn Park in False Creek on Wednesday (June 16).

The charismatic American actor was photographed signing an autograph for an adoring young fan in the park. He donned his full costume complete with a red cape blowing triumphantly in the gentle June breeze. 

The TV show features Superman, a.k.a. Clark Kent, and journalist Lois Lane as they face the challenges of being parents in today's world — as well as some superhero stuff, of course.

Production company MSP has signs up at the Cloverdale Recreation Centre on Monday (June 21), which is one of the filming locations for the TV show. 

Elizabeth Tulloch, who plays Lois, tweeted that the show is filming its finale. She thanked the writers, producers, cast and "kick-ass crew" who helped them complete the first season of the popular show.

Hoechilin was spotted in other parts of downtown Vancouver and fans took to social media to share images of the actor on set. 

The actor also recently shared a photograph of the entire cast to his Instagram account, saying, "I know this picture is already all over the place, but still... I love these people."
