The Tale of Producing CreativeMornings/Vancouver

On the first Friday of every month, it takes a village to put on the production that is CreativeMornings/Vancouver.

On the first Friday of every month, it takes a village to put on the production that is CreativeMornings/Vancouver. Trevor Jansen, a volunteer photographer and videographer for CreativeMornings/Vancouver, brought past speakers and volunteers together to tell the Tale of Stone Soup.

The tale is about a traveller who happens upon a village who, at first, appears to not have enough food to feed themselves or any visitors. Unfazed, the traveller brings a pot out, telling everyone he will make his famous Stone Soup. News of the delicious Stone Soup spreads to the rest of the village, and curiosity brings everyone out to see what the traveller is making. Little by little, the villagers add what little they have to the soup and pretty soon, it becomes large enough to feed everyone.

As it was with the Tale of Stone Soup, volunteers and speakers within the creative community come together, each with their specialty, to produce CreativeMornings/Vancouver.
