The Cheaper Show #9 happens June 26th! In case you're unfamiliar, here's the deal: 200 artists. 400 pieces of art. $200 each.

To gear you up for it, in the coming days leading up to the show we're bringing you a virtual two four of artists who have work in The Cheaper Show #9.

Artist 21 is Kim Krans.

The Cheaper Show #9 happens June 26th! In case you're unfamiliar, here's the deal:

From Skandia, Michigan in and born in 1980, Kim Krans graduated with her MFA from Hunter College in 2003 and lives and works in NY, NY.

Working with sculpture and works on paper, often built into reliefs protruding from the wall, Krans work relates to the construction of our emotional engagement with nature and landscape. In addition TV books recently published a selection of her work titled, I Am Not A Shrinking Violet.

Krans is represented by D’AMELIO TERRAS in NY and Wendy Cooper in Chicago.
