The Main Street Magazine tour is back for 2011 and this year they're focusing in on the neighbourhood that V.I.A.'s office calls home: Chinatown! If you're not aware it's an annual celebration of local arts and literary magazines and the community spaces in which they thrive, and this coming Thursday, August 18th is when you'll be able to check out this one night series of literary workshops, readings, and performances held in and around Main Street.

HERE is the schedule of events so you can plan your night accordingly. We asked our friend Sara Bynoe, one of the tour guides this year, why people should attend hers, and here's what she had to say:

"People should attend my tour because I'll be there; I'm pretty fun to hang out with. I don't know Jaz all that well, but from the little time I've spent with him I can already tell that he's a fun guy to be around. Plus he's got some great events and places on his tour. Really, you can't miss. People should know that you can mix and match tours, if you know where you're going - that way you can have the best of both worlds!

At the end of the evening Jaz and I are collaborating with a Say Wha?! Readings of Deliciously Rotten Writing show. It'll be many awesomes at the same time; a mash-up of awesomes, if you will."
