One of the city's most popular entertainment venues has announced that it will be temporarily closing.
The Roxy Cabaret has been a popular nightclub in Vancouver since the late 80s, known for hosting live bands, DJs, comedy shows, and more.
On Thursday (March 24), the venue stated in an Instagram post that the building "sustained external structural damage" caused by construction next door.
"Because of safety concerns, The Roxy will be closed until repairs are complete," reads the post.
"We will see you soon!"
