Georgia Strait Alliance's #MyVanWaterfront contest is running for just a few more days and you can still enter to win great prizes, including a Helijet ride to Victoria for two, a Feathercraft kayak paddle, hoodies and merchandise from Sitka and more.
We asked the people of Vancouver to show us their favourite pictures, places and stories from the waterfront – and they did. Click through the slideshow for a taste of the pictures that have been submitted.
Submit your content by Sunday (October 5th) and enter the draw. Did you snap a great sunset picture at the beach? Have you been out on the water? Did you spot a cool animal on the shore? What else did you, your family and friends do on the waterfront this summer. You can post on Twitter and Instagram with #MyVanWaterfront (don't forget to tag the location) or submit here.
Prizes will be drawn this Sunday at Water's Edge Day, a festival of free and fun events at the Vancouver Maritime Museum. You can still reserve spots on some of our waterfront tours and there'll be more drop-in spaces available on the day.
Join us at the Vancouver Maritime Museum for Water's Edge Day and tonight at 6:30pm-8pm, for a fascinating talk by John Atkin on the history of Burrard Inlet and False Creek at the Vancouver Maritime Museum. Click here to reserve your free tickets now.
