'Grind' your way up 633 stairs in an iconic Vancouver building and there's a beer waiting for you at the top

The fifth annual Harbour Centre Urban Grind is back on successive Tuesdays beginning March 5 and running through the end of the month.

Given the weather that’s plagued Vancouver the last few months, there’s a good chance your Instagram feed has been woefully lacking shots of you getting your grind on.

Fear not.

The fifth annual Harbour Centre Urban Grind is back on successive Tuesdays beginning March 5 and running through the end of the month.

Run up tons of stairs, listen to music played on a laptop and finish the whole thing off by replenishing the calories you just worked tirelessly to burn — a beer awaits you at the top along with a $5 Harbour Centre Food Court voucher.

The uber fit among us also have the option to run the 633 steps as many times as they desire during the two-hour jaunt, which runs 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. weekly.

Your $5 entry fee (cash only) balances out with the food voucher; an onsite coat check is offered by donation and all proceeds will go to mental health initiatives via the Kettle Society.
