The holiday season is just around the corner, or so Chapters Indigo would have you believe. Guests and media arrived at the posh owner's suite atop the Fairmont Pacific Rim overlooking the waterfront for a sneak preview of their 2013 holiday season gift guide and selection. It's easy to forget Chapters' stores aren't just for books with their increasing focus on home, decor, lifestyle, and gifts.
Housemade charcuterie featuring farmer's sausage, proscuitto, coppa, bresaola, kielbasa, capicola, smoked sablefish, candied and smoked salmon, all from Giovane Cafe, downstairs.
Also from Giovane, many cheeses: Moonstruck White Grace, Salt Spring Island brie, Natural Pastures cracked pepper verdelait and farmhouse cheddar, Golden Ears herbed and plain neufchatel, and Poplar Grove blue cheese.
My favourite: Instant Snow in a can! Just add water. It's just that easy. Sounds like the perfect Christmas gift to me. Available this holiday season.
