Yaletown residents have been notified of a film shoot in Emery Barnes Park on Wednesday, June 11, 2025. There will be some temporary "no-stopping" zones.

A romantic smooch destined for the silver screen will be filmed in a Vancouver park this week.

Production company Prairie Dog Films Inc., a 100 per cent Indigenous-owned company based in Calgary, notified Yaletown residents of filming in Emery Barnes Park on Wednesday, June 11, from 1 to 10 p.m.

The letter notes that the scene will be filmed outdoors in the park with "a couple sharing a kiss." No special effects will be used during filming, and a "limited crew" is expected.

According to @YVRShootstweets on X/Twitter, the production is for the film Pathetic Fallacy.

Temporary "no stopping" zones include the west side of the 1100 block of Richards Street from Helmcken Street to Davie Street, as well as the south side of the 500 block of Helmcken from Seymour Street to Richards Street.
