Vancouverites can celebrate the magic of Christmas under the twinkle of a million lights at a family-friendly indoor wonderland in the city this holidays.
Vancouver’s Christmas Glow festival opens to the public Thursday Nov. 21 at Harbour Convention Centre, offering interactive light gardens, illuminated structures, festive food, themed drinks and daily entertainment.
The playground’s features promise to entertain the kids for hours, while the adults can kick back at the licensed bar and enjoy some seasonal beverages (in cute glowing light bulbs) and live music.
Visitors can walk through interactive hanging lights, dance through a GLOWing light tunnel, jump and tap to change colours on LED swings and hopscotch and take selfies in hanging picture frames. The glowing lights are endless...
And of course, you can take a holiday photo and whisper your Christmas wish to the Big Guy in Red. All photos with Santa are by donation and 100 per cent of the proceeds support local charities.
There will also be plenty to chow down on, with food trucks Master Chicken, Obey Poke, Fish Frys, Power Plant Greens, Stak’d Sandwich CO. and Bun & Burger on site. Plus, lots of sweet treats to indulge in.
