If there's one thing I know really, really well, it's t-shirts. I got my start in design working on t-shirt graphics for the likes of Lakai Footwear and Girl Skateboards in California, went on to start a t-shirt company called Crownfarmer which sold at Colette in Paris, Giant Robot in LA, NY and SF and ended up in Urban Outfitters across America (and finally ended in a fiasco with the mega retailer). Last year I curated a series for Threadless Select, designed my own series for Livestock and in my current relationship with tees I license a line of my designs to 2K T-shirts for worldwide distribution. I also have collections that I've curated coming out with Poketo and with Westbeach in the next few months.
I seem to always be working on something that involves t-shirts.
To say that I have seen a lot of printing techniques and am familiar with traditional screen printing as well as the latest digital printing techniques and blank t-shirts would be an understatement, and I give you all of the above information about my personal history not to be braggadocious but because I want you to know the extent of my knowledge and the research I've put into our new partnership with Wordan's, the proudly Canadian company who will be handling the printing and the entire back end of our new online t-shirt store!
