Calgary's pop sensation, Tate McRae, is coming to Vancouver for two shows this week, including one on BC Day.
Supporting her recent release So Close to What, McRae has seen several singles chart this year, including "Just Keep Watching," which was released as part of the F1 film.
She also had a hit earlier this year with Morgan Wallen, on the song "What I Want," which hit two on Canada's Hot 100 chart and one on the American Billboard 100 chart.
This week her two shows are booked for Aug. 4 and 5, 2025, at Rogers Arena. Joining the Canadian star is Zara Larsson, a Swedish singer and pop star in her own right.
Arriving
It should be noted that the two shows have different times on the Rogers Arena website. The Monday show is listed at 7:30 p.m., while the Tuesday show is listed at 7 p.m. Ticketmaster has 7:30 p.m. listed for both shows.
Vancouver is Awesome has reached out to Rogers about the times.
Tickets
Both shows have essentially sold out, but there are lots of resale tickets available. It appears there are more available for the Tuesday night show, Aug. 5.
Currently, TicketMaster shows tickets available on Monday, Aug. 4, starting at $100, but there are only a few. More are available in the $120 to $130 range.
Tickets via TicketMaster for the Tuesday, Aug. 5, show are slightly less, it appears, with a couple of sub-$100 tickets available, and more available in the $110 to $120 range.
Conversely, resale sites like StubHub and SeatGeek show tickets are more expensive for Tuesday than Monday, at the time of publishing.
Transportation
No additional transit is planned. TransLink does have an alert that may affect those heading home from the concerts. The Oakridge 41st Avenue Station will be closed at 11 p.m. both nights. Canada Line SkyTrains will not stop at that location as work is ongoing overnight.
Hullo Ferries from Vancouver Island (Nanaimo, specifically) will have late night sailings for both concerts. The ferries will leave from Vancouver Harbour (near the Harbour Air terminal) at 11:59 p.m. each night.
Restrictions
A few things aren't allowed in Rogers Arena for the show. Notably, some bags won't be permitted; all bags need to be under 35.5 cm by 35.5 cm by 15.2 cm. For reference, 35.5 cm is just a bit over 13 inches.
Rogers Arena is also a smoke-free zone, as far as cigarettes and cannabis are concerned. The band may have smoke machines.
Other common-sense items, like skateboards, selfie sticks and outside food and drinks, should be left at home.
Cashless venue
Rogers Arena has gone cashless.
"Concession, retail stands, and hospitality will exclusively accept contactless forms of payment," states the venue's website.
Fan service
Rogers Arena has a fan service number to text if there are any issues during the show: 604-765-3267.
Concert-goers can text their issue and their location (their section, row, and seat number) and get help.
