While most castles stay in one place and people go to them, a massive bouncy castle will be coming here this summer.
Dubbed the Big Bounce Canada, the complex of seven inflatable attractions will be set up in Vancouver at the end of August, taking over Concord Pacific Place on the edge of False Creek.
"The Big Bounce Canada is the biggest touring inflatable event in the world," according to a press release.
Among its features is a 24,000-square-foot inflatable organizers say is the "World’s Largest Bouncy Castle."
The castle, which stands 32 feet high, features giant slides, ball pits, climbing towers, and basketball hoops. There will also be a DJ and colourful characters populating the castle.
There will also be a long obstacle course, a space-themed area, a sports arena, and a new addition called City Xscape.
Though bouncy castles are typically meant for kids, organizers say the Big Bounce is for all ages.
Time at the bouncy castle is broken into sessions, with slots for families with toddlers, families with kids, families with teens and younger, and adult-only times. Rules and entertainment will reflect the session's age range.
Sessions last three hours and start at 9 a.m., noon, 3 p.m., or 6 p.m. (age groups vary, with younger groups earlier). The bouncy castle will be open August 23 and 24 and 30 and 31. On Friday, Aug. 29, there will be one an adults-only session at 6 p.m.
