SCENE AND HEARD showcases the independent music scene here in Vancouver. We interview some of our favourite local artists, and 'Last Week in Music' highlights some of the concerts happening around the city.

Megan Majewski is a local lowbrow artist who's cute and creepy art has left goose bumps on the souls of its admirers from Sydney to L.A. Her art lives in a world of svelte sexy women of the dead and there ever so cute and decaying cuddly companions.

Last week's Peak Performance Showcase featured Aidan Knight, Yes Nice, Debra Jean (and the Means), and the Parlour Steps. All showcases take place at the Red Room at 398 Richards St. (Doors at 8pm).
