After En Vogue brought out the 90s in Vancity last week at the PNE SUMMER NIGHTS CONCERTS SERIES, the GYPSY KINGS play tonight @ 8pm at the Global BC Amphitheatre....and dont forget all these shows are free with admission to the fair grounds.

On site at this years Livestock Block Party will be the 2ND ANNUAL LIVESTOCK SNEAKER DRIVE! After the great success of last years drive we have teamed up again with The Portland Hotel Society and LifeSkills Center for another go of it.

As Bob posted yesterday , the LIVE BLOCK PARTY is soon upon us on the 13th, and you really shouldn't miss this epic congregation.

These guys are probably the biggest stars at the PNE, although I hear En Vogue were a very close second place this year. When I go to the PNE, this is the only thing I check the schedule for.

A week after the Livestock Block Party , this year's NEW FORMS FESTIVAL rolls around. Similar to Montreal's Mutek, the NFF is an annual "convergence of media art, electronic music and digital culture.

Another awesome thing about Vancouver is the wealth of most excellent vintage stores filled with treasure, good junk, memorabilia and maybe some new (or old, however you want to look at it) clothes for the closet.
