There are a few cultural heritage days coming up in Vancouver... Here are a few of my picks: 2009 FRANCOPHONE SUMMER FESTIVAL OF VANCOUVER: June 18 - 24 This is the 20th edition of this summer festival dedicated to Francophone music.

I caught up with Powell AM and San Diego resident, Derek Elmendorf at the Port Coquitlam skatepark a couple months back to pick the Canadian side of his brain. The results? Well, see for yourself .

Concrete Skateboarding's Issue 100 release party at Antisocial . This past weekend (June 13-14th) was pretty damn stacked with stuff to do.
