Remember those slides your parents would buy when you'd go on vacation? Then they would show your friends and neighbors how great it was. Sometimes boring the heck out of everyone. Here are a couple from my family's 1979 trip to Vancouver.

Apparently, the Value Village at 7350 Edmonds Street in Burnaby has a wack of old Expo 86 t-shirts on sale, although it looks like they all are of the smallish size. Now's your chance to own a piece of Expo 86 history!

This week, I went and checked out Sunset Community Center. Located near the corner of 53rd and Main Street (6810 Main Street), Sunset Community Center is easily the jewel in Vancouver's Community Center crown.
