10 years, beers and cheers: Mount Pleasant hangout spot celebrates a decade with 2015 beer prices

It's a chance to see inflation in reverse.

To celebrate 10 years on Main Street, Uncle Abe's is pushing the tap menu back to 2015.

The Vancouver restaurant may the only place in the city to find a beer under $5 this month with house lagers during happy hour for $4, among other deals.

That includes the patio, which allows dogs.

"We’re looking forward to 10 days of keeping it a little weird to celebrate," said David Duprey of the Narrow Group, which owns Uncle Abe's (among other spots like the neighbouring Monarch Burger).

However, also in honour of the restaurant's 10th birthday, the beer deals only last 10 days, from Aug. 10 to 19.

“The 10 years have absolutely flown by,” said Duprey in a press release.

“We’ve had an amazing time meeting friends, making memories, and playing with every doggo in Mt. Pleasant.”
