BETA5 is known for their gorgeous cream puffs, wildly creative chocolates, and themed summertime ice cream socials, and they've been going strong out of a modest kitchen and storefront on Industrial Avenue in Strathcona. Now the brand is elbowing their way into the next door space to add a 16-seat café.

The 900-square-foot space at 409 Industrial Avenue will feature everything you love about BETA5, and more, particularly their new coffee, tea, and exclusive hot chocolate program.

Co-founder Adam Chandler personally designed the space, and the award-winning chocolatier is excited to have another venue to share what BETA5 does in terms of pushing the boundaries of chocolate and pastry through art and science.

“It’s incredible to see how much BETA5 has grown since the beginning and how our loyal customers have always believed in what we do,” says Chandler in a media release.

“For us, it’s about creating, surprising, and delighting people with truly unique flavour combinations they may not always expect but works – similar to the juxtaposition between nature and industrial landscape of our location. We hope and want this to translate into our new cafe space and look forward to sharing it with everyone.”

The BETA5 café is poised to open mid-November.
