These are the intense burgers you can try during Metro Vancouver's Burger Week

Metro Vancouverites have a few places they can head to in order to sink their teeth into some pretty epic meaty and cheesy creations as part of the 2019 Le Burger Week.

Le Burger Week Vancouver takes place from September 1 to 7 at  participating area restaurants, and this year look for the event to have an emphasis on cheese, one of the burger’s best friends.

Launched in 2012, the annual event has brought burger lovers together in numerous Canadian cities since 2017, when the fest expanded to include Montreal, Quebec City, Cornwall, Toronto, Ottawa, Winnipeg, Calgary, Edmonton, Regina, Saskatoon and, Vancouver.

Metro Vancouverites have a few places they can head to in order to sink their teeth into some pretty epic meaty and cheesy creations as part of the 2019 Le Burger Week.

Diners are encouraged to eat and vote for their favourites.

Here are the participating restaurants and their Le Burger Week creations:

Bells and Whistles: Duke Caboom

The 'Duke Caboom' is a true Canadian daredevil: it features a cheese curd-stuffed patty topped with a bacon weave, lettuce, tomato, pickle, onion ring and thyme-roasted mushrooms with maple and cheddar mayo.

As with all things CAVU, the “Le Big Mac N Cheese”, is a playful albeit intimidating twist on a classic. Who doesn’t love mac n cheese? Who doesn’t love a burger? Who wouldn’t love a burger where the mac n cheese is the bun?! Careful, it’s a big one though. Mind blown… ‘nuff said.
