Coffee in a Cone: You can get the "World’s Most Instragrammable Coffee" at this B.C. cafe

First there were fancy lattes. Then there was outrageous latte art. There have been cookie cups, and cronuts, and rainbow glitter unicorn everything. But there's one B.C. cafe that's the first in the Pacific Northwest to serve Coffee in a Cone.

Beachcomber Coffee's Sunshine Coast brick-and-mortar shop starting serving up Coffee in a Cone earlier this spring. The edible vessel is available through a partnership with the Coffee in a Cone creators, who launched their creative item in South Africa in 2016.

The cones are made expressly to hold your espresso drink. For the coffee part, that's all on the folks at Beachcomber. The coffee roastery was launched in 2015 by Sunshine Coast native Martin DesRosiers, who distributed his beans all around Metro Vancouver before getting a permanent location up and running in Gibsons in May of this year.

And, of course, the name Beachcomber is a nod to the TV series "The Beachcombers" that is beloved in Gibsons.

A passionate coffee lover, DesRosiers has been an innovator in the bean scene, and now has the cafe space to keep taking things up a level--and that includes offering Coffee in a Cone.

Beachcomber Coffee is located at 264 Gower Point Road in Gibsons, and their hours are 7am to 5pm, seven days a week.
