F'N SWEET! SUMMERTIME TREATS VOL II: BUBBLE TEA

If you don't like this stuff...I'm pretty much calling racist on you.....hey...I know from experience, before even trying it, I wrote it off in the same category as congee in a can, mung bean drink, and tripe....

If you don't like this stuff...I'm pretty much calling racist on you.....hey...I know from experience, before even trying it, I wrote it off in the same category as congee in a can, mung bean drink, and tripe....more weird asian stuff I wasn't gonna try.  Wrong!  All it took was for one of those black tapioca balls to fly up that straw...hmm....I haven't looked back yet.

My favourite and what I'd recommend for those haven't messed with this stuff is to get a fresh fruit slush, I pretty much rate a good place versus a bad bubble tea place on this basis.  A good place will have fresh or even frozen fruit, a bad place will have some messed up powder or syrup.  You can get 'em with tapioca balls which is gummy in texture, coconut jelly which is actually kinda like pineapple, or my new ultimate fave mango stars...that's right not mango chunks or balls...even more specialler....stars...

This is the best spot near my house, Pearl Drops in Norburn....tonite I got extra mango stars...and texted all my friends because there's a little asian girl in all of us.....
