Greenderful Juice brings plant-based foods and drinks to Chinatown

Wellness and sustainability are two of the core forces behind Greenderful Juice, which opened this spring in Vancouver's Chinatown neighbourhood.

Wellness and sustainability are two of the core forces behind Greenderful Juice, which opened this spring in Vancouver's Chinatown neighbourhood. And the two people behind Greenderful are Edward Phan and Wendy Vo, who are delighted to bring Vancouver a fresh option for healthy eating.

Vo, a UC Berkeley-trained nutritionist, has been passionate about health and wellness since losing her mother to cancer. She and Phan have created a bright, welcoming space in the neighbourhood to serve up a menu of plant-based casual foods, cold-pressed juice, and other drinks, like matcha tea and smoothies, made with organic ingredients.

Serving as the in-house nutritionist, Vo has designed the juices and dishes, like a vegan banh mi or fresh salad bowls, to offer balanced nutrients. They don't use any added sugar or preservatives, and their packaging is sourced with eco-friendliness in mind, such as their glass juice jars and recyclable salad bowls. Drinks, like their signature plant-based and refined sugar-free iced matcha, come with compostable straws.
