New Indian street food restaurant bringing kathi rolls to downtown Vancouver

Kolkata street food is getting a new home on Robson Street in downtown Vancouver

Kathi rolls will soon have a new home in Vancouver.

Rollzzy, a new concept from Dilli Heights Bistro, is setting up shop at 542 Robson St., replacing Curry Fusion which spent a decade in the space until earlier this year.

The new restaurant promises a variety of kathi rolls, a street food originally from Kolkata, India.

Rollzzy will have in-house made paratha bread rolled around kebab-cooked meat, veggies, and spices. Paneer and eggs will be included in some as well, and there will be vegan and vegetarian options.

Along with the rolls, there will also be galouti kebabs, made of minced meat and a papaya paste and fried as patties.

The new shop plans on opening in September, according to its Instagram account.

Dilli Heights opened in December 2022 at 436 Richards St, bringing the "wonders of Delhi's food scene" to Vancouver.
